Soon we will be glued to our screens again as 49 Irish athletes and competitors from other countries will participate in the London Paralympic Games.
In one mens sprinting event, Peacock’s recent world record time means the men’s 100m T43/44 final on 6 September will be a major highlight of the Paralympics in London. This race is also expected to feature reigning Paralympic champion Pistorius from South Africa, Jerome Singleton and Blake Leeper. This is definitely one of the most hotly anticipated events at the London 2012 Paralympic Games. You may recall that the current champion, Pistorius, was the blade runner who competed against able bodied runners in the London Olympics.
